The Online Food Manager study Guide is self-paced and narrated. Most people complete the course in 2-3 hours.

Once you register and pay for your course, you will have 24 hours to complete it*. It includes questions at the end of each section to test your knowledge of the subject material. You should score at least 75% on the assessment to receive your Certificate of Completion. This ensures that the material is being absorbed. Ours is the most, economical, comprehensive and up to date program, and it allows you to review the course and retake the assessment as many times as you need in order to achieve the 75% passing score .The goal is that you learn and retain the material.

Our most recent comment: “I just want to say thank you for the course review and test administration. The online course was easy to follow and well prepared  for the test”.

WHY USE THIS STUDY GUIDE?
This course will give you an excellent foundation to take any of the ANSI accredited professional Food Safety exams. It is written in the most user friendly format with questions at the end of each section to help you retain the information, we recommend that the information contained in this study guide is used in conjunction with a Copy of the US Food Code, and the information it contains is not meant to replace “the Code” especially for legal purposes, but to assist Food Managers with the knowledge required to become certified after taking a nationally recognized food manager exam.
*On completion of this course you will be able to print a “Certificate of Completion” this is only for your records and does not replace a proctored nationally accredited examination.

FMT Food managers Course is reviewed and approved by a former supervisor of inspectors (see below) and provides people involved in the preparation, handling, serving and displaying of food with the knowledge and skills they need to safely handle foods for service. Successful completion of the program assures food managers, regulators and employers that the certificate holder has completed a basic course in food safety. The course is based on the latest recommendations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Code and is required by law in some states and voluntary in others. Please check with your local health department for the regulations in your state or local jurisdiction.

As a former supervisor of inspectors and field inspector for more than 15 years, I recommend the Food manager on line course presented by FMT. The Food Code provides the basis for training, but FMT provides the best method to educate and prepare to take the CFSM exam. The online course is comprehensive, complete, and thorough. The smooth, efficient narration allows the food employee to follow the written material and provides better understanding of the concepts presented. This is an outstanding course, comprehensive in subject matter, excellently presented, and easily understood. If you want an educated manager working in your establishment, protecting your customers and your reputation, then this is the course for you.

* Should you not be able to complete with the allotted time, (for technical or other reasons) you may contact FMT to receive a coupon code to take the course again free of charge.
